    Norwegian director Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel (b. 1990) graduated from Westerdals Oslo ACT in 2015. His bachelor film Bird Hearts (2015) was selected for the Future Frames section at Karlovy Vary IFF. The film was also official selection at Toronto IFF, and received the New Nordic Voices Award at Nordisk Panorama. Fanny is his third short film.
