Norwegian films invited to Berlin and Gothenburg
Two Norwegian films are invited to Panorama; Marius Holst's "Dragonflies" and Even Benestad's documentary about his father Esben Benestad, "All about my Father". Publisert: 05.01.02 | Sist endret: 21.01.02

Marius Holst is returning to Berlin, where his first film "Cross my Heart and Hope to Die" was in Competition, and he won Die Blaue Engel-prize in 1995.
Pål Løkkeberg's "Liv" from 1967 will be screened in the Retrospective program.
Gothenburg Film Festival (25.01 - 03.02.02) has invited six Norwegian feature lenght films: All about my Father (Even Benestad), Costal Life (Øyvind Sandberg), Dragonflies (Marius Holst), The Greatest Thing (Thomas Robsahm), Hold My Heart (Trygve Allister Diesen), You Really Got Me (Pål Sletaune).
"All about my Father", "Dragonflies" and "Hold My Heart" will also compete for the Nordic Film Award. The Award consist of the statue "The Film Fox" and SEK 200.000, whereof 100.000 is to the director and 100.000 is for marketing the film during Cannes Film Festival.
Marius Holst won the Nordic Film Award in 1995 with "Cross my Heart and Hope to Die".

Norwegian director Sara Johnsen’s second feature, Upperdog, which was last week (20 August) awarded five Amandas (Norway’s national film prize( is one of the five Nordic nominées for the Nordic Council Film Prize - the largest Scandinavian film award, which comes with a $60,000 (DKK 350,000) cheque, to be shared by the winning film’s director, scriptwriter and producer.
