The Leaf
The Leaf follows the two sisters Agnes and Eleonora. The video recordings started when Agnes was a baby, first as a documentation of her epileptic seizures. In the early recordings Agnes plays with her three years older sister Eleonora, but after a long period of violent seizures Agnes stops babbling and turns her eyes away – focusing on specific things like running water. While the camera registers Agnes’ development, Eleonora dances off-screen,saying ’Mommy, look at me!’

Varg Veum II - The Writing on the Wall
Just when Varg Veum seems to have gotten his act together, the past comes back to bite him. Veum has forsaken the dangerous life of a private investigator for a far quieter existence as a teacher. He has a new girlfriend and contemplates buying his own house. But then his nemesis, The Knife, gets out of jail. A judge is killed and a young girl disappears. Both of them connected to an event Veum has tried to repress. This time Varg Veum is not on the case. He is the case. Like with his debut film URO, Stefan Faldbakken lends a twitchy energy to the Veum universe. With an eye for environment, he paints the city of Bergen in a dystopian noir mood with an ever-present feeling of doom and entropy.

Limbo
Direct from a Norwegian seventies reality - Sonia with her two children arrive in Trinidad to join her husband Jo who is working as an oil engineer. She is introduced to a homeless class of men who have the whole world as their workplace - and their wives, who follow them wherever their contracts take them. On the surface these women live lives in luxury with large houses and servants. The days are uneventful and blend together into an everlasting holiday, where the women nurse their superficial relationships over cocktails poolside – the perfect climate for self-delusion. LIMBO is a film about love, betrayal and desperation in a country far from home – in a “coming of-age” story for adults.

Evening turns into night and in the land of milk and honey, specifically downtown Oslo, the rats seep out. While a cafe serves the "Today's Coffee" - Malabar, three young bullies cruise around in a van looking for even more spectacular slapping-recordings for their website. Live is chasing after money for drugs. Her asthmatic father's has his last day of work in the sewers. Khalid has changed his name and finally got a job - in the sewer. Christopher is thrown out of the hospital with "psychiatry" stamped on his forehead. And the barista, Kristina, finally decides to reveal her deepest secret before sailing around the world. A multi-character film about vulnerability, bustle and violations.

Norwegian Ninja is the true story of how Commander Arne Treholt and his Ninja Force saved Norway during the Cold War.
