| Short summary |
Jan Wanggaard was a World Champion windsurfer in the 1980´s. He left the sport at the peak of his career to study industrial design. He then moved to Lofoten, where he has lived since 1989. The film follows Wanggaard during three years, from conception to implementation of the art project Planet Lofoten – an installation of the solar system in Western Lofoten on a scale of 1:200 million. |

Director biography:
Lars Nilssen (born 1958) has made several award-winning shorts, including Finale (1989), The Dive (1992) and The Circle of Life (1997). The latter won the Dolby Award at the Norwegian Short Film Festival in 1997. He has also made one feature length documentary, and has shot and directed twenty-one programmes about Bård and Lars going fishing for NRK. He has also directed numerous music videos and published three books.
