| Short summary |
The story in the second film about the Junior Olsen Gang takes place in Oslo in 1960. In connection with the official opening of the public TV station NRK, a talent competition is announced in which the winner will receive 50.000 Norwegian kroner. In Oslo's East End, Egon is dreaming of wealth and fame - and life as a rock star. "The Dynamites" is quickly formed, with Dynamite Harry on the drums, Egon, Kjell and Benny on guitars. Kjell's debut as a songwriter comes about with "Valborg, yeah, yeah, heah!" - and after many complications and a lot of exitement they win the competition. At that moment, the legendary manager Pop-Johansen appears and wants to make "The Dynamites" rock stars in America. Our friends are cheated of their prize money, and a hazardous hunt starts - on land and not the least in the air, in a private plane over Oslo city - with the Junior Olsen Gang at the controls... |

Director biography:
 Arne Lindtner Næss (1944) was educated as an actor and has performed at most every theatre in Norway. Since 1985 he has also been a director, screenwriter, and creative producer for TV-series. This is his second feature film as director.
