| Short summary |
The Norwegian trade union leader Walter Jonsen contemplates his Weltanschauung in the Reichstag before making a public address to the people of Berlin. Celebrated by his German Metal Union colleagues he ends the night being mugged by two prostitutes. An unlikely Samaritan brings him back to life and he rediscovers the joy of helping the little man getting fair pay for his work. |

Director biography:
 The director Emil Stang Lund was born March 27th 1963 in Boston, USA. As a Norwegian-American dual national, Stang Lund is an autodidact and versatile director, screenwriter and sometimes actor, who, since 1982, has held an assortment of jobs within the Norwegian film industry. He won the Prize for Best Director at the Moscow International Film Festival in 1993 for his first feature “Bat Wings. His second feature “Virgins of Riga” (1996) was a comedy on Scandinavian businessmen set in the ex-Soviet Republic of Latvia. He is a passionate lover of epic films hot in the grand 65/70mm, but also finds fulfilment in making short films comedies. His short film “Eye for an Eye” won the Special Award of the Jury in Venice 1998 and Grand Prix of the European Short Film Competition at the Brussels International Thriller, Science Fiction and Fantasy Festival in 1999.
