Short film Children of Satan
(Satans barn)

Louise (11) and Maria (11) make friends at a Christian summer camp. When a new girl arrives, Erna, Louise and Maria are asked to take extra care of her, but they soon realize she is a bit different. They conclude she must be obsessed by Satan. Children of Satan is a story about two young girls’ need to belong, their lively imagination, and how the combination of the two has a fatal outcome.

     Thea Hvistendahl (b. 1989) has established herself as a creative and sharp storyteller with a strong characteristic visual style. She has won several prizes for her shorts and music videos. Her debut feature length film Adjø Montebello premiered in 2017 to great critiques. It’s a hybrid between concert, fiction and music video. She is currently in post- production for her debut narrative feature, Handling The Undead.
