Klara the Calf has invited everyone for a Christmas party at Cattle Hill, but when her father is called away, she enlists help from the farm's barn elf in preparation for the festivities. Unbeknown to her she breaks all the rules about how to care for the elf creating a scene of destruction on the eve of Christmas!

Klara the Calf is excited to spend her first Christmas on Kutoppen with her Father, but when they arrive at the farm Klara is disappointed to see he has not attempted to decorate for the holidays. When her father is unexpectedly called away for work, Klara sees it as an opportunity to make Kutoppen a Christmas paradise with the help of the cheeky Christmas elf who lives on the farm, but as Klara finds out it is about being together at Christmas which is the most important.

The director about his film

Christmas at Cattle Hill is a riotous, musical comedy for all the family. The farm of KuToppen is inhabited by an eclectic bunch of animals who are all preparing in their own particular way for the Christmas holiday, but they all have to put their differences aside in order to protect the farm from disaster. We will again follow Klara the Calf as she prepares for her first Christmas on KuToppen, and what better way to celebrate this with a big party on Christmas Eve, but in the KuToppen universe things don't always go as planned, especially when you involve the farms Nisse to help out! I love Christmas and 2nd to that is watching Christmas films once December rolls in, from the emotion of “Miracle on 34th Street” to the slapstick of “Home Alone” there is always a Christmas film for whatever takes your fancy! But one fancy that has never been told is what happens to a Nisse who has several bowls of porridge... before Christmas Eve? When I started working on the film I wanted to take in all the fun and stressful experiences I have had with my own Christmases, from the excitement of being a child to the stress of an adult with frantic last-minute internet shopping, but then add in the mix the unpredictability of an overfed and destructive Nisse, as he frantically rummages around Kutoppen ruining everything in its path as it searches for one that elusive bowl of porridge! This is a Christmas no one on KuToppen will forget in a while! The film will appeal to a broad range of ages with an array of situations that most adults and kids will empathize with. We will also add in a large dose of physical comedy to keep the smallest ones entertained with fun, unique action sequences and seeing a Santa on the big screen as you´ve never seen before!  Original music played a significant role in the first KuToppen and for the sequel I want to heighten the music ́s involvement to include several exclusive songs that help drive the story onward, Klara will have her moment in the spotlight with a song which is inspired by the classic Disney songs from past and present, the film will climax with a big show stopper, with the original cast all returning to lend their vocals as they sing to save KuToppen from disaster. The rest of the music will feature rock, pop and EDM so every genre will be covered to please all types of music fans. The score will be composed by Gaute Storaas and will be inspired by the fifties Hollywood Christmas films, such as a Wonderful life as well as modern classics such as Elf to give the film a nostalgic and recognisable atmosphere. With the enhancements of 3D animation, it will allow us to enhance the set pieces and elevate the action from the previous film. The setting of KuToppen will look stunning in its winter dressing, with the low winter sun perfectly reflecting off the crisp, white snow. The new film will be more expansive and introduce many new and fun locations in and around KuToppen, to expand the universe to help achieve a more cinematic setting and assist us in accomplishing the emotional punch I need with the finale!
