Dukhtar is a road trip thriller inspired by true events in Pakistan. It is about a young mother who is on the run with her eight year old daughter to save her from an arranged marriage to a warlord. On the road, she meets an adventurous truck driver, Sohail, who helps them escape. A forbidden love is kindled between Sohail and Allah Rakhi. As Allah Rakhi reaches Lahore, the pursuers catch up with the absconding mother and a tragic sequence of events lead to her death.
