The style of the film, combined with the spectacular visuals, creates a meditative atmosphere in the movie theatre inviting the audience on the inside of the movies locations
The director, Lars Petter Gallefoss' background is from award winning factual documentary series that has sent him filming in over 30 different countries. The idea for the film was conceived while filming mullahs praying for peace in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. Pray is his first poetic documentary film.
