A sixteen year old boy with an intense desire for recognition seeks out a vicious criminal to prove his boundless grit. An expressive suburban gothic tale which enters the mindset of a teenager and explores the phenomenon of sensation seeking at a young age.

  • Kenneth Karlstad

     Kenneth Karlstad (b.1984) is an Oslo based writer and director for commercials and fiction.   Kenneth's short film debut The Hunger (2017) won the Film Critics’ Award at The Norwegian Short Film Festival and has traveled festivals worldwide, including Sitges International Fantastic Film   Festival, Gothenburg International Film Festival and Moscow International Film Festival. Upon its online release, it became a Vimeo Staff Pick Premiere. 

    Kenneth’s music videos have been nominations   for Best Music Video at SXSW and Best Indie/Rock video at the UKMVA's. He has won several awards including Best Music Video at The Norwegian Short Film Festival and Atlanta Film Festival.    

    Kenneth is currently developing a drama series based on The Hunger and a feature film based on The Dreamer.
