Ida H. Eldøen
Ida is a Norwegian writer, director, and producer. She has a master's degree in film studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and studied at Nordland College of Art and Film. As a gay filmmaker, she is interested in representations of queer characters on film and wants to contribute to making them as diverse as possible.
Ida is best known for her short comedy The Half Wall, which screened at several festivals in Europe, the USA, Asia, and Canada. It won the audience award at West Nordic International Film Festival in 2018. Her latest short, The Corner, won Best in Show at Wicked Queer: Boston International LGBTQ+ Film Festival in 2021.
