What it was like seeing Chris is based on a short story by Deborah Eisenberg and all about Laurel, which stands at the threshold of becoming an adult woman. Life seems daunting for her, and she struggles with insecurity and inadequacy. She spooked by her sudden adult emotions when she falls for an older man. The challenges are made no less with her increasingly debilitating sight.
