DOC Norway Market is postponed
Western Norway Film Centre (Vestnorsk filmsenter) and the Norwegian Film Institute have decided to postpone Doc Norway Market 2020 due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.
The market was scheduled to be held in Bergen during the autumn, but is postponed until further notice. But..
... but don't worry. New date for Doc Norway 2021 will be announced in a short time, and thus will not be a digital solution.
- The market has contributed to the financial strengthening and distribution of many Norwegian documentaries, and the two previous markets have been very well received, both by the industry and the American guests. We feel that this is a meeting place that is important for the industry and for Norway, and we are looking forward to together with Western Norway Film Centre to arrange history's third Doc Norway Market next year, says Head of Department Development & Production in Norwegian Film Institute, Lars Løge.
