Spillefilm Flukten over grensen
(The Crossing)

Flukten over grensen er en film om selvtillitt, vennskap og stort mot i små mennesker.

Desember 1942. Fire barn er på flukt fra nazistene. Målet er Sverige. Sarah og Daniel er jøder og skal sendes ut av landet. De har gjemt seg i kjelleren til Otto og Gerdas familie, men nå er de oppdaget og foreldrene arrestert. Otto og Gerda bestemmer seg for å hjelpe sine nye venner videre. Det blir en flukt på liv og død. Heldigvis møter de gode hjelpere underveis.

Men hvem kan de egentlig stole på? Flukten Over Grensen er en spenningsfilm inspirert av historiske hendelser om frykt, tillit og vennskap, og om stort mot hos små mennesker.

    Johanne Helgeland belongs to the first alumni of directors from Norwegian Film School. She is one of the country's most experienced female commercial directors, and has also directed several music videos. She has worked extensively with drama comedy, such as Melonas for NRK and NAV for TVNorge, and several children's series (Kampen (2013), Den Magiske Kroppen(2015)). In 2006 she made the shorts of the Ekko Ibsen series, with Marika Lagercrantz and Aksel Hennie starring. She also wrote the screenplay together with writer Jens M. Johansson.
