Andresen made his debut as a feature film director with the highly acclaimed youth comedy The Liverpool Goalie in 2010. The film had its international premiere at the international film festival in Berlin in 2011, where it won the Crystal Bear for Best Film in the 14plus section of the Generation Competition, as well as received Special Mention from the Generation International Jury of the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk.
