Martin Lund
Martin Lund (b. 1979) was educated as an art director at Westerdals School of Communication before he was accepted to the directing- programme at the Norwegian Film School at Lillehammer, graduating in 2009 with the short film Baloon Moods. This was, however, not his first film as a director: Home Game from 2004 was screened at numerous national and international film festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand and Sundance Film Festival in 2005, and received several awards. He also directed the shorts Shall we dance? in 2007, and Pistachio in 2009.
Lund is also a seasoned director of commercials and has also won numerous awards for his work in this field. For a period of time he was also employed by Kitchen, Norwegian affiliate of American advertising giant Leo Burnett. Lund made his debut as a feature film director in 2010 with Twigson ties the Knot, the second film in the Twigson-franchise, one of the biggest and most successful movie franchises in Norwegian cinema history.
