A Man Named Ove is based on the successful Swedish novel of the same name written by Fredrik Backman, and it is about a widower in his 60s who lost his job and decides to take his own life. He is a sourpuss and control freak who annoys everyone he meets on his way. But some of those he meets refuse to give up on him and be pushed away; and slowly but surely, they break down his resistance.
