The Future Is Diverse: Building Sustainable Pathways for Inclusive Cinema, hosted by the Norwegian Film Institute
The panel takes place on Monday May 19, 14.30 GMT - stream here.
Moderator: Zac Ntim, International Film Reporter, Deadline
Speakers:
– Around the world, the conversation around equity in film is shifting. As DEI efforts are being scaled back in some places, we are reminded that progress is never guaranteed. It must be protected, nurtured, and advanced. And we in Europe must take the lead, CEO Kjersti Mo said, in her introduction.
– That is why the Norwegian Film Institute has taken the initiative to host this panel. We believe that the future of cinema must be inclusive. Not just because it is the right thing to do, but because it is a source of strength, Kjersti Mo said.
