The Academy Awards, known as the Oscars, are presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. This year sees a record number of Norwegian Oscar nominations.
Norwegian Oscar nominees:
- Joachim Trier's Sentimental Value is nominated for nine Oscars.
- Emilie Blichfeldt's The Ugly Stepsister is nominated in the Best Makeup and Hair category.
- Espen Nordahl, Storm Studios is nominated for his VFX work on Sinners in the Best Visual Effects category
