In the Sami village of Kautokeino, Garen (50) finds herself at the bottom of the social ladder. When her son is to marry the daughter of a wealthy reindeer herding family, Garen sees an opportunity to raise her own status by arranging the perfect wedding. She must persuade her siblings to help: the gay artist Henry who hates all things Sami, the outspoken closet drunkard Belle, and the village fuckboy, Johan. The whole of Kautokeino follows as the dysfunctional sibling group tries to put together the perfect wedding in record time. What could go wrong?
