Stella hates things she can't do, and she doesn't like things that hurt. She also has a vivid imagination, which churns out horrible images of what she dreads. It doesn't help that big brother Todd can do everything and always wants to compete. But it's not easy to be the biggest, either. Todd runs the slowest of the boys in his class and he doesn't dare to dive when swimming. So, he loves winning against Stella. But the joy is always short-lived because they start arguing. Sometimes he dreams of selling Stella. Todd & Super-Stella follows the sibling pair over five years, from Todd starting school, until Stella is in the third grade. It is a roller coaster ride of emotions and obstacles that must be overcome. The film gives a humorous and honest insight into an upbringing filled with frustration, arguments, love, and failed ski trips.
