In the fall of 2016, Hurricane Matthew hit Haiti with all its force. It crushed everything that came in its way; the consequences were worst for those who had the least.
Matthew is an animated short documentary based on interviews with Haitians, primarily young people on the threshold of adulthood. They talk about their experiences when the hurricane hit the country and about the future in light of the climate challenges. It is a story about belonging and strength but also about vulnerable people's encounters with climate-induced disasters.
