Mum dies and old conflicts come back to life.

This film is the sequel to the short Hurra for mamma (2002). Back then mum celebrated her 60th birthday in 1979. Now 20 years later, mum dies and the brothers come home for the funeral. The old conflict regarding their Sami identity flares up again.

    Per-Ivar Jensen (b. 1968) was educated at Oslo Film & TV Academy, and has directed several short films. Besides his directorial efforts Jensen is also an accomplished musician, being the front figure of the band The Replaceable Heads and Per Ivars Orchestra. In addition to fiction shorts, Jensen has also directed more avant-garde dance shorts, one of which made in co-operation with noted Estonian choreographer and dancer Kask Teet.
