Jade Hærem Aksnes
Jade (b. 1987) is from Norway, and graduated in 2014 from the American Film Institute Conservatory with an MFA in Directing. Prior to this she completed her studies in Norway with a BA in Film and TV Production, specializing in Directing, and an MA in Film Analysis. Jade has written and directed several short films, amongst them her short Golden Thread which screened at 22 film festivals in Europe and the US, and won several awards including Best Narrative Short, Best Directing and Best Screenplay, and her short Englespill which screened at 11 international film festivals, won an Audience Choice Award, and was broadcast on Norwegian national television. Based on her film production, Jade was awarded the Artist Grant from Arts Council Norway, and she is currently working on developing her first feature film project.
