Nora Nivedita Tvedt (b. 1998) is a Norwegian documentary director. She graduated from the Norwegian Film School in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in creative documentary directing. Her graduation film, Fucking Adopted, was nominated for several international festivals and won the New Nordic Voice Award at Nordisk Panorama, while her next film, Show Me Your Face When You Look at a Stranger, won Best Short Documentary at Nordic/Docs in 2023.
Together with producer Lillian Løvseth, Nora directed her first feature documentary Small Dogs Bark Loud, which premiered at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival 2025 and has since screened at Zlín Film Festival, Kristiansand Children’s Film Festival, PÖFF, and Cinekid. The film is set for theatrical release in Norway in January 2026. In 2025 Nora also started working as a producer in Ten Thousand Images.

Karrar Al-Azzawi is an Iraqi filmmaker based in Norway and the co-founder of KAJ Film Production. An award-winning director and cinematographer, he holds a BFA in Film Directing from the Norwegian Film School. His films focus on untold stories that challenge stereotypes, foster understanding, and create solidarity across borders.
His international debut, Baghdad on Fire, premiered at CPH:DOX 2023 and was screened at prestigious festivals, including the Atlanta Film Festival, DOK.fest München, Festival des Libertés, Big Sky, Slamdance, and Bergen International Film Festival. The film received multiple awards and nominations and was broadcast on Al Jazeera, BBC Arabic, France TV, Al Araby TV, NRK, and DRTV. Al-Azzawi is currently working with The Iraqi Warriors (in development), Dreaming Souls (in development), and In My Mother's Heart (in early development).
Arctic Film Norway, in partnership with IDFA, will present the 1st Arctic Film Showcase at IDFA, November 15-20. Join a presentation of 6 engaging works in progress, with a chance to meet the filmmakers from the North of Norway and learn about projects.

EBU (European Broadcasting Union) holds a yearly event in conjunction with IDFA, specifically for EBU member broadcasters to pitch documentary projects. The lead broadcaster is responsible for pitching the project in person. Pitches are followed by a Q&A session. This is a closed event and the sessions are for representatives of EBU member broadcasters only.
