CPH:DOX is one of Europe's leading festivals for documentary film. This year, nine Norwegian documentaries are selected for CPH:DOX. Two of the films are competing for the main award Dox:Award, while five other films are selected for other competitions. In addition, Norwegian projects will be presented at CPH:Forum and at Kunsthall Charlottenborg.

A film director carefully tries to approach his autistic son. A composer is inspired by a walk deep into the Earth. Both experiencing loneliness and an urge to unite. Can they come to a common ground in the end? The film explores our senses, artistic creation and harmony in life, and is a sensual experience of sound and room.

The Inter:Active exhibition takes place at Kunsthal Charlottenborg between March 19-30, 2025. This year, CPH:DOX has invited 12 international artists or collectives to present their work as part of their joint exhibition Untamed: Humanity Rewilded.

Sørfond grants top financing for co-production of fiction and documentary films where the main producer is located in a DAC-country.
Funding is available for different formats with a Norwegian minority co-producer.
This scheme is designed to stimulate increased exports of Norwegian films by providing grants for the marketing and distribution of Norwegian films abroad.
You may apply for funding of collective launch events and financing initiatives held in international arenas.
The film production incentive grants return on costs spent in Norway to international films and series produced entirely or partly in Norway.
