TorinoFilmLab, i samarbeid med Norsk filminstitutt, Oslo Filmfond og Oslo Filmkommisjon, utlyser plass for fire til seks norske filmprosjekter i tidlig utviklingsfase til en eksklusiv fire dagers workshop.

Workshopen arrangeres parallelt med TorinoFilmLabs store internasjonale workshop Feature Lab i Oslo 7. - 12. juni 2025, og gir deltakerne muligheten til å utvikle sine prosjekter med veiledning fra internasjonale eksperter og til å nettverke med de internasjonale deltakerne på utvalgte sesjoner. Where and when: 

An intensive 4-day workshop for fiction feature film projects in early development. 

Are you working on an exciting new project and looking for dedicated mentorship?  TorinoFilmLab, in partnership with the Norwegian Film Institute, Oslo Film Fond and Oslo Film Commission welcomes applications for a four-day intensive workshop designed for fiction feature film projects. Held alongside the Feature Lab workshop in Oslo (June 7. - 12. 2025), this initiative offers a unique opportunity to refine your work with expert guidance from TorinoFilmLab. 

About the workshop: 

An intensive development program welcoming a maximum of 4-6 selected projects, working closely in a group with experienced tutors. The workshop focuses on strengthening projects through tailored feedback, hands-on mentorship, and collaborative discussions, fostering both creative and strategic growth. 

Who can apply? 

The workshop is open to teams of local audiovisual professionals developing fiction feature film projects in the early development stage. Participants should be eager to immerse themselves in the writing process and benefit from an intensive development experience. 

Participation and costs 

Participation in the workshop is free of charge and includes training, as well as partial subsistence coverage during the residential workshop (lunches and networking cocktail). 

Travel, accommodation, and additional meal costs are the responsibility of participants.  

Eligibility criteria 

  1. Production company must be based in Norway.
  2. Teams may consist of a maximum of two members presenting the project. This could be Director/Scriptwriter, Director/Producer or Scriptwriter/Producer.
  3. Applicants must submit a fiction feature film project in the early development stage (treatment stage).
  4. The workshop accepts both original concepts and adaptations. For adaptations, the team must have secured the rights to the original material.
  5. The working language for all workshops, meetings, and events is English; therefore, a good command of English is essential to participate. 

How to Apply 

To apply, please fill out the online application form and submit the required materials in English: 

  • Project logline (max. 2 lines, font size 14)
  • Project synopsis (max. 1 page, font size 14)
  • Treatment (min 5 pages – max 10 pages, font size 14)
  • Director’s/scriptwriter’s intention note (max. 1 page, font size 14)
  • Updated CV for each applicant (max. 2 pages per CV)

TorinoFilmLab is an international audiovisual lab & hub supporting auteurs and talents worldwide through professional training, feature film and TV series development, production and distribution funding, and networking opportunities. 

TorinoFilmLab runs annual programmes such as ScriptLab, FeatureLab, SeriesLab, ComedyLab, and Story Editing, featuring multiple one-week workshops held online and across Europe.
