Norsk filminstitutt

About YNPC

The world is beginning to open up, and we are looking forward, and ready!

Cannes Film Festival is postponed until July, but even though we're optimistic, we cannot see that we will be able to run a meaningful YNPC at that time. Therefore, we have decided, this year, to hold YNPC in Hamburg October 6–9 when Hamburg Film Fest is taking place.

So, do you work as a young producer in an established company, or have you established your own production company recently? Then we would like to invite you to take part in YOUNG NORDIC PRODUCERS CLUB 2021.

For four days, we will look into as many aspects of co-producing as possible. We have invited several experienced film professionals in producing, distribution, sales, international strategy, marketing, and festivals to share their experience with us. We also present a couple of cases in co-production and international film sales.

And since YNPC this year will be held in Germany we will take the opportunity also to focus on German Reginal funding as a part of Nordic financing.

Programme

YNPC 2021 will take place during Hamburg Film Fest, October 6-9.

The program is focusing on sharpening and increasing your network. We will set up network meetings with representatives from Nordic and European film institutes, Nordic Film & TV Fund, Nordic Creative Europe Desks, film funds, international production companies etc.

The program is still a work in progress, so changes may occur:
Wednesday October 6th from 10.00 – 18.00
Thursday October 7th from 10.00 – 18.00
Friday October 8th from 10.00 – 18.00
Saturday October 9th from 10.00 – 14.00

Fee

The participants fee is 125 €.

You will get a free accreditation to the festival and as a part of the program you will attend https://www.explorer-konferenz.de/

You have to cover transport and accommodation yourself, but right now we are negotiating with hotels concerning prizes.

We expect accomodation costs around 100 € incl. breakfast and possibility to stay in shared double rooms for approx. 60 €.
