Jade Hærem Aksnes
Jade Hærem Aksnes (b.1987) is from Norway, and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Directing from the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles. She has written and directed several award winning short films with funding from the Norwegian Film Institute et.al., that have screened at over 80 international film festivals, winning a total of 18 awards. Her short film "Pushing Night Away" also qualified for Oscar consideration and received funding from the Norwegian Film Institute for the Oscar campaign. Currently, Jade is developing her debut feature film with funding from the Norwegian Film Institute's talent program NEO.
